These terms apply to your use of bocaratongaragedoorbros.com and to estimates and work provided by Boca Raton Garage Door Bros. Using this site means you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What this website is
This site describes our garage door services and lets you request a free estimate. Submitting the form does not create a contract and does not schedule work. A job is only booked when we confirm it with you directly.
Prices shown on this site
Any price ranges published here are typical ranges for common jobs in our area. They are not quotes, not offers, and not guarantees. The actual price depends on the door, the parts required and the condition of the hardware. You receive one flat price in writing before any work begins, and you approve it before we start. If we find something during the job that changes the price, we stop and get your approval before continuing.
Estimates
Estimates are free and valid for 30 days unless we say otherwise in writing. Parts availability and manufacturer pricing can change.
Workmanship warranty
We warrant our own labor for 3 years from the date of completed work. The warranty covers the workmanship of the installation or repair we performed. It does not cover: damage from impact, storms, flooding, vehicles or attempted self repair; normal wear on consumable parts; work performed by anyone else; or a door or opener that was already failing outside the scope we were hired for. Manufacturer parts carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides, and we pass that through to you.
Scheduling and access
We give arrival windows rather than exact times, because job length varies. You agree to provide safe access to the garage and to keep vehicles, pets and children clear of the work area. If we arrive and cannot access the door, we may need to reschedule.
Your right to cancel an agreement signed at your home
If you sign an agreement with us at your home for $25 or more, you can cancel it until midnight of the third business day after the day you sign. We give you two copies of a written cancellation notice when you sign, and we tell you about the right out loud before you sign. To cancel, deliver or mail a signed and dated copy of that notice, or any other written statement that you do not want the work, to Boca Raton Garage Door Bros, 6432 Pine Jog Ave, Boca Raton, FL 33433. A mailed notice counts from the postmark date. You can also email info@bocaratongaragedoorbros.com or call (954) 852-3979 and we will honor it, but keep the mailed or delivered copy as your proof. If you cancel in time we return every dollar you paid within 10 days and you owe us nothing. If you called us out for one specific repair and that is all we do, this right does not apply to that repair, but it does apply to anything else we sell you while we are there.
Contracts over $2,500
Florida's construction lien law requires a written notice on any residential contract over $2,500. If your job prices above that, your contract carries that notice on its front page and you sign it yourself. We walk you through it before you sign. Nothing on this website is that notice.
Text message program
What the program is. Boca Raton Garage Door Bros operates two text message programs, and you choose each one on its own by ticking a box on the free estimate form at bocaratongaragedoorbros.com/contact.html. Neither box is ticked for you and neither is required to submit the form. Text messages go only to the mobile number you enter on that form, and only to the program or programs whose box you ticked. Accepting these Terms of Service does not by itself opt you in to text messages.
- Non-marketing messages about your own request. Transactional messages and service alerts: appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival updates, and estimate and quote follow ups.
- Marketing messages. Promotional messages: special offers, seasonal maintenance reminders, and a request for a review after your service. This is a separate choice and you can take the first without the second.
How often you will hear from us. Message frequency varies. Non-marketing messages typically run two to six messages per service request. Marketing messages are typically no more than four messages per month.
Cost. We do not charge you for the messages. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
How to stop. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us and the texts end. QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE and OPT OUT work the same way, in any combination of upper and lower case, and so does any other wording that makes the request clear. After you send STOP to us, we will send you one message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed, and after that you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. You can also stop the messages by telling us on the phone, by email, or by telling any technician. We stop within ten business days of your request, and in practice the same day.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and your handset, and we cannot guarantee that every message arrives.
Age. You must be 18 years or older to participate in our SMS program. You must be 18 years of age or older to give consent to receive text messages from us.
Consent is never a condition. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase and not a condition of getting service. You can call us instead and we will still come out. Nothing about your price or your place in the schedule changes either way.

Safety notice
Garage door springs are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury or death if handled without the correct tools and training. Nothing on this site is instruction to repair a spring, cable or torsion assembly yourself. Any general information here is provided for understanding only, and you rely on it at your own risk.
Licensing, permits, codes and approvals
Garage doors in Florida are part of the building's wind load envelope, so new and replacement doors generally require a permit and a product approval appropriate to your address. We tell you before we begin whether your job needs one. Where a permit is required, the licensed contractor performing that work pulls it, and we coordinate the application, the scheduling and the inspection with you. Work that requires a licensed contractor is performed by a licensed contractor, and we give you that contractor's name and Florida license number in writing before the work starts. Communities with an association often require architectural approval first. You are responsible for obtaining association approval and for telling us about any restriction that applies to your property.
Your use of the site
Do not use this site to submit false information, to send automated or bulk submissions, to attempt to gain unauthorized access, or for any unlawful purpose. We may block access for any of these.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, logo and images on this site belong to Boca Raton Garage Door Bros or are used with permission. Please do not copy them for another business.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Boca Raton Garage Door Bros is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost time, lost income or the cost of a rental vehicle, arising from your use of this website or from the work we perform. For property damage and economic loss arising from the work, our total liability is capped at the greater of the amount you paid us for that job or $1,000. That cap does not apply to personal injury, and nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury or death, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Before making a claim, tell us and give us a reasonable chance to inspect the work and put it right. Most problems are fixed on one visit at no charge under the warranty above.
If anything in these terms conflicts with the written estimate you approved for a job, the written estimate controls for that job.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of these terms or our work is the Circuit Court or County Court in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, West Palm Beach Division. You consent to personal jurisdiction there and waive any objection to venue.
